Rules and Regulations
1. No horse or team of horses shall be entitled to a premium unless serviceably sound.
2. Horses entered as matched pairs must be owned by one person or firm.
3. Animals or combination of animals owned by one exhibitor may be entered in the classes below.
4. No grade stallions shall be accepted for entry.
5. All animals entered must compete and be shown.
6. In no case is it permissible to show mixed breeds in the same class or section to be judged against each other for premiums.
7. General rules and regulations governing the fair will be followed.
8. The Fair Manager reserves the right to refuse any or all entries.
9. No horse showing clinical signs of any contagious or infectious disease will be admitted to any show. (SEE HEALTH RULES)
10. The registration papers on all horses must be available on request.
11. Percherons show first on odd years, Belgians show first on even years.
12. Any equine may be subject to blood text.
13. This Department is open to draft animals only.
14. Animals shown in this Department cannot be shown in any other Department.
15. All trailers will be parked in an area so designated by the Fair Board.
16. No ribbons, trophies, awards equipment or exhibit may be removed at any time before the close of the Fair or Department.
17. It is teamsters responsibility to be ready for their class.

SECTION 5 - DRAFT HORSES HITCHED TO A CART OR SUITABLE VEHICLE
1. Horses may be purebred or grade, but must have been shown in the appropriate preceding individual class.
2. Each exhibitor is limited to one entry per class.
3. All hitches must be judged, not merely brought in for exhibition purposes, and must remain for the duration of the fair.
4. Each exhibitor must make arrangements to have a cart or suitable vehicle to hitch.
5. Scoring for the judging of all hitch classes is as follows:
60% Manners and performance
20% Conformation (appearance of horse or horses)
20% Appointments (wagon, Harness)
6. Same horses cannot be shown in Class 10 and 11.
7.Women showing in Class 12 may not show in class 11.
8. Multiple horse hitches must be approved by the Hitch Committee by Tuesday at 2:00 pm.

Rules and Regulations
1. No horses showing clinical signs of any contagious or infectious disease will be admitted to pull.
2. All equine showing must be accompanied by health certificate prepared within 30 days of opening day of the fair, by an accredited veterinarian. The Health Certificate shall include negative date of Coggins test, which must have been conducted within 12 months of opening date of the fair at which the equine is to be exhibited.
3. Any unsportsmanlike conduct will be cause of disqualification.
4. All horses will be weighed if demanded by Fair Manager.
5. All contestants must pay regular gate admission.
6. Any equine may be subject to a blood test and Veterinary examination.
7. Social Security number is required for all contestants.

Rules and Regulations
1. Exhibitors will be expected to display or parade their animals as directed by the Superintendent; to accept the stall assigned without controversy; to keep their animals in an attractive appearance, and to cooperate with the department in every way that may serve to increase the educational value of the show.
2. Exhibitors of livestock must inform themselves as to when their stock will be judged.
Stock must be in the ring promptly on call, and a failure to comply with the order renders exhibitors liable to be ruled out of competition.
3. Decorations with ribbons or ornaments previously won by animals at shows shall be prohibited until after the awards have been made in their respective classes by the judges.
4. Exhibitors may be from Pennsylvania and adjoining New York State Counties.
5. Exhibitors will be expected to keep the space they occupy in a clean and sanitary condition, and remove all their equipment promptly as the Superintendent may direct.
6. Identification cards will be provided for each animal.
7. Registration papers will be checked on all cattle by the superintendent or his committee prior to show.
8. No animal can be shown in both beef and dairy classes.
9. ALL ANIMALS WHILE IN THE SHOW RING MUST BE IDENTIFIED BY THE EXHIBITOR'S
NUMBER.

1. When on exhibition in the ring, each animal must be under halter, and in charge of owner's representative.Any animal that is unruly, not under the control of exhibitor or poses a threat to the safety of others will be dismissed from the show ring and will not be eligible for judging.
2. The General Rules of this fair and health requirements apply to all cattle.
3. All animals must be registered with their respective breed association.
4. Registration papers must be available for inspection.
5. Animals that aren't registered may show as commercial, but both parents must be beef animals. Only animals registered and showing papers are eligible for Classes 10, 21 – 24.
6. State health rules and regulations will be followed.
7. All bulls over one year must be shown with a nose ring or show style nose lead.

2. Any animal of unthrifty nature, unsuitable condition, or which cannot be satisfactorily
handled under show conditions must be removed from the fair grounds.
3. Ownership - Animals must be the bonafide property of and owned by the exhibitor as
recorded on the registration certificate. This name must appear on the entry card.
4. Registration - All animals, regardless of age must be purebred. (Registration papers must be available for inspection on all animals over one year of age) Purchased animals must have transfer recorded at least thirty (30) days before the fair.
5. All sheep will be washed, properly fitted and trimmed. No patch shearing or patch trimming.
6. All blankets to be removed after judging until leaving the fair.
7. Each exhibitor will be limited to two (2) entries in each individual class; each entry shall be listed separately.
8. Entry fee- $l.50 per animal. No entry fee on group classes, but each animal in the group must be entered in its individual class. Fee must accompany the entry blank.
9. Crossbreeds and natural black are open to sheep of any breed and/or crossbreed.
10. Ages for all classes will be determined as of September 1st of each year.
11.All trailers will be parked in an area so designated by the Fair Board.
12. No ribbons, trophies, awards, equipment or exhibit may be removed at any time before the close of the Fair or Department

Rules and Regulations
1. All intended entries for show, exhibition or display, shall be reported to the director of the Bureau of Animal Industry by the Fair Board Secretary no less than 10 days before the fair opens. Therefore poultry entries are due July 15th.
2. Movements onto show premises will be permitted only by a prior properly completed and endorsed health certificate. The contents shall include:
A. Name and location of the show.
B. Name, address and telephone number of flockowner
C. The following information applies:
1) Verification by certification that all birds were vaccinated against
Laryngotracheiti, Laryngotracheitis
2) Chickens, turkeys, guineas and other fowl must be accompanied by a
pullorum free certificate
3) Pertaining to purchased birds; a statement must be included verifying the fact
the flock of origin was free of contagious disease.
3. No bird will be accepted on the day of the fair without a prior completed health certificate properly filled out.
4. Since all birds returned from the show are potential sources of infection to other birds, they should be isolated immediately after their return, separate and apart from all other birds. This isolation should be maintained indefinitely, if possible or at least until it has been established that the birds are not carriers of disease-producing agents, as may be determined by exposure of a few susceptible birds to direct contact with them.
5. It is suggested that the birds entered, or the entire flock from which they come, be immunized against those diseases for which approved vaccines and methods are available.
6. No exhibitor may show more than 12 varieties, 48 birds per family. Entries will be received until such time as the cooping capacity is reached.
7. The management reserves the right to reduce the number or entries from one party, if the cooping facilities are exhausted.
8. TheAmerican Standard of Perfection will govern poultry judging within the limitations as set forth in the General Rules and Rules of this Department
9. Entered specimens must be bonafide property of exhibitor. All poultry must be separately cooped and clearly marked as to sex and class. During the continuance of the show, all birds will be examined carefully each day. Birds showing signs of disease will be segregated by the owner or his employee for removal from the show. Birds will be handled only by the judge or authorized fair official.
10. Premiums will be awarded only on animals or birds exhibited in their proper classes.
11. NO SUBSTITUTION OF ANIMALS OR BIRDSAFTER ENTRY DEADLINE.

2. Meat pens may be entered. They must consist of two rabbits from the same litter, 59 days old or under, weigh 5 pounds or more.
3. Standards and rules of American Rabbit Breeders Association will be followed.
4. All rabbits must be permanently earmarked according to ARBA rules. Any rabbit not so
marked will not be accepted. All animals must be tattooed one week prior to show.
5. No rabbits will be bred during the fair.
6. No sick or diseased rabbits will be admitted.
7. Rabbits removed before show closing will forfeit premiums.
8. 4-H entries must be on separate entry form.
9. EXHIBITORS NEED NOT BEAMEMBER OFARBATO EXHIBIT.
10. No Substitution of animals after entry deadline.
